This striking travel poster was originally released in Switzerland as a tourism promotion. The original lithograph was a reproduction from an artist's depiction of golf on the Lausanne countryside. The Golframes edition reformats the early layout and design, and features a re-mastered illustration.

Lausanne sits above Lake Geneva, set in a landscape of terraced vineyards with the blue waters below. The rich cultural life make it a an exciting European destination.

Golf at Lausanne began with the "Golf Club de Lausanne," founded in 1931. The original design is credited to Hermann Narbel and Donald Harradine. Most recently, the famous course was remodeled by golf architect Jeremy Pern.

While clear styrene is produced through manufacturing, styrene occurs in the environment and is a natural component of many common foods, such as coffee, strawberries and cinnamon. Should you prefer glass in our framed products, the styrene is easily removed and may be recycled with other plastics.
