A humorous poster featuring the art of the beloved Clare Briggs. Briggs began his career by submitting cartoons to newspapers. Finally, William Randolph Hearst recognizing his talent, hiring him as a regular for cartoons in the Chicago American and Chicago Examiner. Quite possibly, briggs was the catalyst who began the great American comic strip tradition.

The "Local Rules" are: 1-No matter how bad you are playing, it shall always be possible to play worse ... 2-No more than 130 thoughts shall be kept in your mind during any one swing...3-Should you look up after causing an awful shot, you shall always look down again at exactly the moment when you ought to watch the ball if it is ever to be seen again...4-Any shot needing to carry over water may be played with one more club or two more balls...5-Golf is 90% part mental and 10% mental...6-Should you want to get better, go back and take it up at a much earlier age...7-Since bad shots come in groups of three, the fourth bad shot constitutes the start of the next group of three...8-Any change in the swing shall work for a maximum of three holes with no set minimum.

• Clear Styrene "Glass" - Styrene "glass" is a remarkably strong, flexible, and lightweight product that takes the place of traditional glass. We use styrene instead of glass so our products may be shipped without breaking. While clear styrene is produced through manufacturing, styrene occurs in the environment and is a natural component of many common foods, such as coffee, strawberries and cinnamon. Should you prefer glass in our framed products, the styrene is easily removed and may be recycled with other plastics.
