The famous Victoria Golf Club in Australia is brought to life by artist Bill Cooke. Raised in the artists and photographers colony of Carmel California, Bill moved to Sydney in 1998. He lives and works in his home studio in the quaint town of Bowral, just a few hours south of Sydney.
In this 2010 painting, Cooke captures the threatening bunkers guarding the 4th green. This less-than-200 yard par-3 is regarded by many as one of the best examples of Sand Belt bunkering in all of Australia. Victoria's design is credited to William Meader, Oscar Damman and the famous Dr. Alister MacKenzie.
This Golframes edition is a tremendous addition to any golf collection. The print is reproduced with the fine detail of Cooke's brushstrokes on canvas. Each print is numbered of the limited edition of 200.
Regarded as one of Australias finest golf clubs and continually ranked among the top ten courses Down Under, this edition captures the excitement of the celebrated Victoria Golf Club.
