Cleveland’s Terminal Tower stands tall in this 1930 illustration by Leslie Darrell Ragan. At its opening in 1930, the 52 story tower was the tallest building in the world outside of New York City.
The original poster commemorated the tower’s opening. Ragan designed posters promoting many of the cities along the train routes of the New York Central Lines. Ragan’s style has an Art Deco tone, capturing the skyline of Cleveland’s busy downtown district.
This Posterette reproduction (affiliated with Golframes) has carefully restored the original luster of the larger print produced by Latham Litho & Printing of Long Island City, New York.
Each print of this limited edition reproduction of 200 is hand numbered. The imprint identifies the original with the inscription: “Inaugural Poster by Leslie Ragan — 1930”
